Around it, planets, moons, comets, some close in, some flung to the far edges, all of it held together by one gravitational pull. That is one way to picture the Self. In Jungian terms, the Self is not your personality. It is not your ego, and it is not the version of you that shows up on a good day. It is the whole psyche: conscious and unconscious, the parts you have integrated and the
